Industry Summit built up with the Oulu attitude and spirit will be held the 7th time in a row in the Oulu Theatre, 14-15th of May 2019. Industry Summit 2019 provides excellent opportunity to receive knowledge and experience of well-known experts from different countries. Various aspects of the climate change challenge as well AI and digitalization impact on sustainable industrial solutions will be raised, new aspects of business opportunities and experience of industrial forerunner companies will be presented.
Programme in short
In addition to the Main stage seminar (English) there will be the Circ day seminar (Finnish-English) organized by the Waste Management Association (JHY) Finland at the venue of Industry Summit on the 14th of May. Expected audience of Industry Summit 500+ guests among which are influencers, experts, investors and potential growth engines for your Company. One of the novelties of Industry Summit 2019 is a site visit on 15th of May to Rusko area representing sustainable industrial solutions of Oulu. During the site visit Summit participants will be acquainted with companies operating in this area such as Gasum, Lindström, SFTec & Rakeistus pilot factory and Laanila Eco power plant (Oulun Energia) as well as Biogas filling station and Kiertokaari, the strategic focus of which is to promote circular economy through their co-operation with competent partners. The visit will be accompanied with Saara Palo-Oja from Oulun Energia. Saara will share information concerning the EUR 22 million investment of Oulun Energia.
